What must I do to be saved?

" And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:30-31
" For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Did You Know...
Did you know that in Revelation 6:2:
"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he
that sat on him had a bow; and
a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to conquer."
The word 'bow' comes from the greek word 5115
toxon; from the base of 5088; a bow (apparently as
the simplest fabric):-- bow. (Strong's Greek
Lexicon).
The Greek word for 'bow' as in 'bows and
arrows' is not used in the New Testament,
however, the greek word for arrow is the same as the
greek word for spear. 3057. logche long'-khay;
perhaps a primary word; a "lance":-- spear.
(Strong's Greek Lexicon)
The real question then is this. What type of fabric
does this rider come into power with: a sash maybe,
or a banner or flag?
The American Heritage Student's Dictionary
describes the 'sash' as: "A band or
ribbon worn around the waist or over the shoulder as
an ornament or symbol of rank." Is this
'sash' the 'bow' the John was
describing in this passage? Would a more correct
translation of this verse be:
"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he
that sat on him had a sash; and
a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to conquer."
or
"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he
that sat on him had a banner;
and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to conquer."
